About Schumetta
Schumetta McLendon is an architectural designer, urban planner and strategic advisor working across the built environment, economic development and international partnerships.
As Founder and Principal of SCHUMETTA, she brings nearly two decades of experience across architecture, planning and development, including luxury residential development, post-disaster rebuilding, public-sector planning and government coordination. Her experience spans both the private and public sectors, from high-end residential projects in Southern California to development review and land-use planning in Florida.
Prior to her career in architecture, Schumetta worked at The Walt Disney Company in Casting, Feature Animation and Corporate Alliances, providing an early foundation in collaboration, relationship-building and strategic partnerships.
Today, she brings this multidisciplinary experience to strategic advisory and international economic development. As a Board Member of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce Florida Chapter, her work includes strengthening U.S.–European economic relationships and connecting companies, institutions and investment networks with opportunities in U.S. markets.
